Funding OptionsThe Magic Crayon is a private paediatric occupational therapy service. The following funding options are available: Private FundingFamilies may be able to claim a rebate for occupational therapy sessions through their private health insurance. Coverage and rebate amounts vary, so contact your relevant provider for further details on how to make a claim. Medicare - Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP)Clients may be eligible for 5 subsidised allied health sessions per calendar year. Please contact your General Practitioner for more information, as a referral will be required in order to access the CDMP. The sessions can be made up of five of one type of service (e.g. OT) or a combination of different types of service (eg. 3x OT sessions, 1x speech pathology and 1x physiotherapy). National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)The NDIS is an Australian Government healthcare program which provides funding and support to people with developmental delay or a permanent disability. At The Magic Crayon we currently see children with self-managed plans ONLY Our fees are charged inline with current NDIS fee schedule. |
